This report, entitled "The Health Effects of Chlorine in our Water Supply" was prepared as my 1B Work Report for Dynamic Engineering Consultants . This is my first work term report. The purpose of this report is to evaluate the benefits and negative consequences of chlorine content in public water supplies.

This report writing format will make it easier for the reader to find what he is looking for. Remember to write all the sections in plain English, except for the Body. Also remember that the information needs to be organized logically with the most important information coming first.
Different programs will have different default report formats. Youmay accept the default or choose your preferred format when you run theprogram. The majority of the report formats (except those that are also standardsequence feature tables or other defined formats formats, likeembl, genbank, gff, pir, swiss,excel, feattable) have a block of information at the startof the report describing the program, date, output filename, ID name ofthe sequence and some of the parameters and statistics of the report.Summary: This resource is an updated version of Muriel Harris’s handbook Report Formats: a Self-instruction Module on Writing Skills for Engineers, written in 1981. The primary resources for the editing process were Paul Anderson’s Technical Communication: A Reader-Centered Approach (6th ed.) and the existing OWL PowerPoint presentation, HATS: A Design Procedure for Routine Business Documents.
