The Catholicity Scholarship is not a matched scholarship. Consideration for the scholarship will be made during the admissions application process for incoming freshmen. Awards may be renewable and are contingent upon availability of funding.

Union Catholic Endowed Scholarship applicants will be judged based on their demonstrated outstanding character, commitment to academic studies and dedication to extracurricular activities, such as fine and performing arts, forensics, community service, or ministry in a faith community. Candidates must be in good standing in academics and behavior. Class of 2020 Endowed Scholarship applications will be available September 1, 2015. Endowed Scholarship recipients will receive a $4,000 scholarship. This award will be distributed over four years at $1,000 per year.As a Catholic university, we support families who are committed to a Catholic education. St. John’s University has created a Catholic School Scholarship which provides an annual award of $2,500-$5,000, for a maximum award of $10,000-$20,000 over four years of undergraduate study.
Over $270,000 in scholarship monies will be awarded to incoming students based on the results of the Union Catholic Scholarship Exam.

Catholic School Scholarship
Created in response to a recommendation from the Advisory Board of the University's Institute for Catholic Schools (ICS), this scholarship provides an annual award of $2,500-$5,000, for a maximum award of $10,000-$20,000 over four years of undergraduate study and is automatically awarded to incoming freshmen who will be graduating from a Catholic high school and entering St. John’s in the fall of 2016.

There is no application for the Catholic School Scholarship. Eligible first-time freshmen will automatically receive the minimum award.
